The Tomato Paste Production Line is a complete industrial solution designed to transform fresh, ripe tomatoes into high-concentration tomato paste suitable for further processing into ketchup, pizza sauce, tomato juice, and canned tomato products. This production line covers the entire process from fruit receiving, washing, sorting, crushing, preheating, refining, evaporation concentration, sterilization, to aseptic bag filling. Every stage is engineered to preserve the natural color, flavor, and nutritional content of fresh tomatoes while achieving the desired Brix level.

Processing Stages

The complete tomato paste production line begins with a flume washing system that removes dirt, stones, and foreign materials. Tomatoes then pass through an inspection conveyor where workers remove unripe or damaged fruits. A crusher breaks the tomatoes into small pieces before they enter the preheater, which rapidly raises the temperature to inactivate enzymes. The hot break system operates at approximately 85 to 95 degrees Celsius, preserving pectin and producing a thicker paste.

Following preheating, the tomatoes go through a double-stage finisher. The first stage uses a coarse screen to separate larger particles, while the second stage employs a finer screen to produce a smooth puree. The puree then enters a multi-effect evaporator where water is removed under vacuum to achieve the desired concentration. Finally, the concentrated paste is sterilized and aseptically filled into sterilized bags inside drums or bins.
